The important bit
Privacy Policy
Your holiday plans are personal. This policy explains what information Hol’s Hols collects, why it is needed and how it is looked after.
Last updated: 22 September 2026Who is responsible for your information?
Holly Rice, trading as Hol’s Hols, is the data controller for personal information collected through this website and during your enquiry.
For any privacy question or request, email hello@holshols.co.uk.
What information is collected?
When you send an enquiry, you may provide your name, email address, phone or WhatsApp number, travel dates, budget, departure airport, details about the people travelling and your holiday preferences. Further information may be needed if you ask Hol’s Hols to arrange a booking.
Please do not include passport details, payment-card information or sensitive medical information in the website enquiry form.
How and why it is used
Your information is used to reply to your enquiry, research suitable travel options, prepare quotations, communicate with you and, if you decide to proceed, help arrange and support your booking.
The legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, performing a contract where you make a booking, complying with legal obligations and the legitimate interest in managing genuine customer enquiries and providing a personal travel service.
Your enquiry details are not used for unrelated marketing and are not sold.
Who may receive it?
The enquiry form is delivered using Formspree and correspondence is handled through the Hol’s Hols email service. If you choose to proceed, relevant information may also be shared with the travel agency, tour operators, accommodation providers, airlines, cruise lines, transfer providers, insurers or other travel suppliers needed to research, arrange or administer your trip.
Only information reasonably needed for the relevant purpose will be shared. Some travel providers may process information outside the UK; where this happens, the protections required by data-protection law or the provider’s applicable safeguards will be relied upon.
How long is it kept?
Enquiries that do not become bookings will normally be deleted within 24 months of the last meaningful contact. Records connected with a booking may be kept for up to six years after the trip or longer where law, a dispute or an insurance requirement makes that necessary.
How it is protected
Reasonable organisational and technical measures are used to protect personal information and access is limited to the people and service providers who need it for the purposes explained above. No online service can guarantee absolute security, but personal information is handled with care and kept only for as long as needed.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may ask for access to your personal information, correction of inaccurate information, deletion, restriction of its use, transfer of information you supplied, or object to certain processing.
To exercise a right, email hello@holshols.co.uk. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
